Please see below message regarding rescheduling or cancelling appointments with the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center 

Your wellbeing is central to a high quality of life, so it’s important you keep every scheduled appointment. Life is busy, though, and conflicts arise.

If you have an existing appointment and cannot keep it, contact us as soon as possible to reschedule.

• Rescheduling opens appointment slots for your fellow Veterans, even if you call on the day of your appointment. This helps everyone get access to the care they need as quickly as possible.
• Rescheduling saves taxpayer dollars allocated for Veteran health care. Over a half billion dollars per year are wasted due to no-shows. We would rather use that money to improve your health!
• Rescheduling prevents delays in you getting a diagnosis or treatment of an existing medical condition. It ensures we can provide you with the best possible care.

Even if you’re not prepared to commit to another appointment, call and cancel so we can use the time to serve one of your fellow Veterans.

There are multiple methods to reschedule or cancel an appointment:

• Call 316-685-2221, select Option 2
• Use the MyHealtheVet app or web portal
• When receiving a reminder by text or phone call, enter the code to cancel
