Kim Mason currently serves as the Chief Fiscal Officer for the Kansas Office of Veterans Services. With over 30 years of dedicated public service to the State of Kansas, she has held key leadership roles including Agency Assistant Director, Chief Fiscal Officer, and Lead Accountant.

Kim holds degrees in Accounting and Information Systems, along with a Certificate of Public Management from the University of Kansas Public Management Center’s Certified Public Manager® program.

Outside of her professional life, Kim has been happily married to her husband, Jack, for 35 years. They have one adult daughter and are excitedly anticipating the arrival of their first grandchild. In her free time, Kim enjoys family life—especially with her five beloved fur-babies—as well as reading, hiking, and exploring new places.
