Susan Robinson newly appointed Director of Homes for the Kansas Office of Veterans Services brings strategic leadership and operational oversight for the State's Veterans' Homes. She is committed to ensuring high-quality care, strong regulatory compliance, and a supportive environment for residents and staff alike.

With more than 20 years of experience in healthcare leadership, Susan brings extensive knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare programs, long-term services and support, and population health management. Her work has consistently focused on improving outcomes for vulnerable populations and strengthening collaboration across teams and partner organizations.

Before joining KOVS, she held leadership roles with Aetna Better Health of Kansas and Aetna Better Health of Illinois, where she led transition-of-care initiatives, directed home and community-based services operations, and help develop programs integrating medical, behavioral health, and social supports.

Susan is known for her ability to align operations with strategic goals, enhance workflows, and build strong partnerships across state agencies, providers, and community organizations. She has also contributed to regional housing and homelessness initiatives, including working with regional housing efforts in the State of Kansas.

A graduate of Missouri Western State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Susan also brings a background of service through the United States Air Force Reserve. She is committed to servicing Kansas Veterans and their Families with integrity, accountability, and a focus on continuous improvement.
