Superintendent, Kansas Veterans' Home - Andrea Jones

I’m honored to serve in the role as Superintendent of the Kansas Veterans' Home as of September 1, 2025. With more than 30 years of experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, and assisted living, I’m passionate about supporting staff, building strong teams, and fostering a positive, resident-centered culture. I hold a Master of Health Care Administration & Leadership from Friends University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Bethel College and a nursing degree from Hutchinson Community College.
I grew up in Newton, Kansas and am a proud mom of four grown children and five grandchildren. Over the years, I’ve also had the joy of hosting three foreign exchange students who have become part of our extended family. Outside of work, I enjoy attending church, volunteering as a small group leader, and spending time with my pets. Family gatherings, traveling, and cheering on my kids and grandkids are some of my favorite ways to spend my time.
