The Kansas Office of Veterans Services (KOVS) is committed to improving the lives of our state's Veterans and their Families. Whether helping Veterans file claims for education, medical, or other benefits, or assisting them in obtaining well-earned medals and military awards, KOVS is here to serve. These essential programs and services stand as a testament to our state's
To ensure Veterans can easily access their benefits, KOVS provides Veteran Service Representatives (VSRs) at no cost. These dedicated professionals guide Veterans and their Families through every step of the application process. VSRs are strategically located throughout Kansas or supported through grants to national Veterans Service Organizations such as the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars.
The KOVS Veteran Services Program can assist you with filing VA claims for the following:
- Education Benefits,
- Non-Service Connected Pension Benefits,
- Service-Connected Disability Compensation Benefits,
- Spouse and Dependent Benefits,
- State Benefits,
- VA Health Care Benefits.
